Some Grocery Deals & Odds n Ends

avocadoes $2.48 5 pack (50cents each, versus at least $1 individually)

Tilda pure basmati rice (white I believe) 10lb $10.98 I like basmati because it's lower glycemic index but not super processed.

Now for the odds&ends
I saw an ad the other day for people to do the federal census, google it if you're interested.
There will probably ads within the next few weeks for the city census. I did this a few years ago and made at least $500, maybe closer to $1000. Good money for what you actually do.
I also took a class on pillowcase making this week. Apparently, Sew You Like to Quilt is collecting pillowcases for the Ronald McDonald House. 100% cotton only. I will hopefully be teaching a class for RS sometime. I will check the fabric from Sue, hopefully there is lots of fabric to choose from. Here is a link to the pattern if you want a headstart.
