Fundraising support - Anyone

Travis is going to Greece this spring with the Design Studies class. (I`m so jealous, especially since they are not even taking parent chaperones!!)
They are organizing several fundraisers. If anyone is interested in any of these, please let me know. Travis and I would be most grateful.
Spaghetti Dinner - All you can eat spaghetti with your choice of tomato or Alfredo sauce, garlic toast and Ceasar salad and beverage. Saturday, October 25. This is the same evening as the RS Broadcast, so I`m thinking that those "poor" husbands left at home could come and eat their hearts out. Tickets are on a pre-sell basis only, so give us a call to get your tickets. There will be door prizes to be won as well.
Sobeys Gift Cards - These are used either by yourself to pay for groceries or to use as gifts for family or friends. Also, they would make very nice Christmas gifts for employees or valued customers. They are available in denominations of $25, $50, or $100. The cost to you is no more than the face value of the card. IE If you want a $50 gift card, you pay $50. Sobeys rebates back to the student a percentage of the total sales. That is how the student makes their money. You are not out any money and if you already shop at Sobeys, then it`s a win - win. We will be running this in the next few weeks and will continue through December for those looking to purchase for Christmas gifts.
Collicut Passes - I do not have the details, but the basic premise is if you do not buy monthly passes because you visit the Collicut on an occasional basis, you can save nearly 50%!! There are single or family passes available and good news - the Collicut does not restrict the definition of a family. So our large families are not penalized. I will have prices within the week.
Tupperware - With Michele out of the business, you may not have replaced your consultant. If you want any tupperware in the next month, I can get you a catalogue. Travis will receive a percentage of the sales.

On another note, Candace, is selling SUTP (as is almost every other student) for credits toward her choir fees. She has joined the famed LTCHS choir and they have a variety of fundraisers, this being one of them. The books are $20 again this year and have some very useful coupons. She also has access to Calgary and Edmonton books if you have family or friends who live in these cities. So if you have not already been bombarded by your own kids wanting to sell the books, let us know.

I have no idea how many people read this blog, so even if these fundraisers don`t"float your boat", perhaps you know someone who may be interested. I will take the opportunity to thank you now for supporting my kids in their endeavors. I realize this is an expensive time of year, so we truly thank you.
If you need to contact me, you can either send me an email joannlynn"telus.net( the text is not cooperating, so the "at"symbol is registering as a quotation mark. Hopefully you are smarter than I can read this email address) or call 403 346 8328.
