My parents are cleaning out their canning stash and have the following to give away:
3-4 cases (15 jars each) of quart/1L mason jars
3-4 cases (15 each) of pint (500mL) mason jars
1-2 cases (15 each) 250mL mason jars (brand new)
I'd love to spread them out, so if want a few cases, give me a call to arrange pick-up or delivery. you will likely need to buy new screw-on lids.
A little birdy told me that we will do a weekday Relief Society meeting (enrichment) on canning this summer. If you want a head start to do strawberry jam, just go to the Atco Blue Flame kitchen website (google it) for the most up-to-date information on how to safely process your food.
I am also cleaning out my closet and have the following to give away:
Reitman's size 11 ladies suit (jacket & pants) grey pinstripe. This fit me in my slightly heavier days and is in good condition.
Ladies black dress coat, estimate size 8-10
rubber duck wall vinyl stickers for a baby room
small microwave (gone)

ReplyDeleteyou'd have to check with the real canners like JoAnn or Rhonda T but I use the small (250ml) for jam only. I use the med (500mL) for jam if you have a larger family or apple sauce. I use the big (1L) for fruit, pickles, etc.
