Free Toddler Bed or Double Headboard

Our crib broke - the front railing has a small piece missing so now it is only good to be used as a toddler bed or you could use the back railing as a headboard for a double bed. Cannot replace the front railing (I already tried).
If you want it or know someone who could use it please let me know. otherwise, it's heading to the dump.

More Goodies

1. Costco EDIT - 10 cent prints for 200 OR MORE prints on now until August 21st. I apologize as I thought it was up to 200 prints but then I went to order and realized the error.
2. Summer Clearance - now is the time to stock up on your summer toys and items you know you're going to use next year. Found lots of toys at Superstore. the Bay still has great clearance prices - plus take an extra 30%-50% off the sale price.
3. Internet Shopping - you know how there is often a place for a coupon code at the checkout? Before you do your check out, do a google search for the store + coupon. For example I searched through a few websites today using Chapters Coupon and found a code for $5 off my purchase plus I got free shipping for spending $25 (usually only for $39 or more). So I saved at least $25 with my sale purchases and coupons/discounts. Always worth doing the search before paying because you might just save some extra money.

Deals This Week

I've been enjoying my summer and there haven't been that many deals to be had, so here are this week's:
SmartSource flyer/coupon book - free box of 20 Quantum Finish dishwasher tabs. You have to purchase the tabs between August 1 and 21, 2011 and the value of the coupon is worth up to $7.99.
Wal-Mart:
Minute Maid frozen punch (not real juice) $0.67 each
Great Value Butter 1lb/454g $2.97 - GOOD DEAL as per JoAnn
Broccoli bunches $0.97 each
Cherries $1.97 (also gets JoAnn's approval)
Kellogg's Family Size cereal 515-850g - $4.97 each. Now the most important part about these, based on the picture is the boxes have a mail-in coupon for a $5 gas coupon, which mean you're getting either your gas or cereal for FREE! Shazam!
Clover Leaf tuna - $1 each (I buy the small flavored tins for lunches instead of spending $5 on a sandwich when I forget to make my own lunch).
SuperStore:
Spend $150 get a free 2lb clamshell of blueberries. This is okay, but really, why can I get a $25 gift card for spending $250 but only $5 for $150? Percentages just don't work out.
Boneless, Skinless chicken breasts, IQF (Individual quick frozen) 4kg box $26.28
not the greatest quality chicken but it works in a pinch
Cottonelle toilet paper 24 double rolls $9.97 each (reg $16.97) limit 6
Kellogg's corn flakes, raisin bran, vector, fibre plus or just right $2.97 each, limit 4
Huggies club size diapers $29.99, limit 4. works out to $0.20 each for the size 4 box of 150. Not fantastic but still saves $10.
Rubbermaid 68 L tote: $6.97, reg 9.47 good for all your storage needs
Romaine lettuce $0.56 each
Red or green grapes $1.18/lb (was 0.97 last week and soooo good)
Black diamond cheese strings, 16 count $4.99, reg $7.99
Black diamond cheese $6.99 for 700g (was the best price on cheese at that store this week).
Opti-Free contact lens solution $13.99 each, reg $16.99
Aerius 20's or Reactine 30's $13.99, reg $17.99 (I live off aerius in the summer).
Back-to-school supplies - fun deals. I am so tempted to buy things but I don't really have a child in school.
Photolab $0.10 each if ordering 100prints

General Tips:
Check out the cereal boxes lately as there are some good freebies. Coupons or just free box of granola bars, $5 gas card, etc. So, if it's stuff you use regularly, it's worth buying. Also check out the price per weight - sometimes the smaller sizes are a better deal.
That's it for now. Happy Shopping.
