Fresh chicken legs (backs attached) $1.49/lb or $3.28/kg limit 3. They are fresh, so you can repackage into smaller amounts.
Cheez Whiz 1kg jar $4.99 Limit of 2
Raspberries $1.77/clam shell. I don't know if this is good. I don't buy raspberries.
For the rest of the week:
Astro yogurt $1.00 It's back. I thought we'd never see that again. I bought 40 last time (i the winter, froze some and used it for smoothies (yum)
corn on the cob 3/$1 I realize that's $4/dozen, but if you are craving a bbq with fresh corn, . . .
Delissio pizza $4.99 Limit of 4
Romaine $1.00 (I think I saw it cheaper somewhere else, but not sure)
tomatoes $1.00/lb (also could be cheaper)
Quaker cereals (Life, harvest crunch, etc) $3.49
peeled carrots $1.00
Superstore - gas coupon this week. Buy the groceries, show your receipt at the gas bar and they deduct 10-25/L off your fill (35 if you have a PC mastercard)
romaine $.76 each. There is it. I knew I saw it somewhere
baking potatoes $.56/lb That's almost cheaper than regular potatoes, but alas, they are white, not red. Blah
cantaloupe $1.46
watermelon $3.96
pepperoni or other sausage chubs $1.98 for the smaller 500g size
NoFrills
Delissio pizza $4.99 - same as Sobeys
General Mills sugary cereal (you know, the ones with more chocolate, sugar, and marshmallow than any one person should eat and call breakfast :) $3.47
If you are a Breyers fan, $3.49/tub
Snuggle fabric softener 120 sheets (or liquid) $3.97
frozen salmon fillets $4.99/lb
strawberries $1.47/lb
raspberries $1.47 for the same size package as Sobeys
watermelon same as superstore $3.96
Asparagus $1.69/lb
cucumbers $.99 ea We eat a lot of cucumbers, so I buy the bulk bag at Co-op for $3.99. They are the seconds that don't make the grade to be wrapped and sold individually. ie they could be curved, too skinny or too fat - but usually they are just not straight enough. I like them
NN marshmallows 400g bag $.99 That's only $2.48 for the big 1kg bag at SStore that sells for at least $3.99. You can get minis, jumbo or colored. Good time to stock
The last thing is Mark's. I usually let Liesel tell you since she's so good at it.
They are having their 20% off everything in the store this Thursday 5-close, plus you can double dip with the coupon that is on their flyer for an extra $10 off. You can really get some good deals this way. Their men's dress clothes are awesome and are truly no-iron. I should know because Devon used to fall asleep (yes till morning) in his Sunday clothes and they still looked great.
Same with their never-iron women's clothing as well.
There are a couple of other coupons for later in the summer - one in July and one in August attached to this flyer (20% off and 40% off respectively)
What's my point?? I can retrieve at least 20 flyers from my recycling for anyone who wants them, either for this weeks specials or for the ones in the summer. But the kicker is, garbage day in Westpark is Monday. So you will have to let me know before then.
Thanks JoAnn. You're amazing.
ReplyDeleteI took the initiative (or rather Morgan did) to retrieve about a dozen of the Mark's flyers with the coupon cards attached to them. There here and even if I'm not, the kids will get them for you if you want to come over. Truly, the dress pants and shirts are totally awesome. Combine the sale price of $10 off, plus the 20% savings this Thursday evening and you are set!!! Plus the other coupons for July and August.
ReplyDeleteI misssed the best part. So the dress clothes are already $10 off. Plus the 20% off everything, including sale items. I said all this before. AND use the $10 off coupon from the flyer and suddenly your husband or teen is sporting a new pair of indestructible dress pants and no-iron dress shirt for a total of $70!!! Moores - let's see you do that!
ReplyDeleteSo I got $435 worth of clothes for only $135 last night at Mark's. It was a fun time. Hope more of you were able to get in on the fun.
