Saturday only - Lagostina pressure cooker $63.99, reg $159.98
I'm all over pressure cookers these days - you can seriously cook a roast in like 30 minutes or beans in 12 minutes! If you get some accessories, you could cook rice super fast too. Faster, less expensive energy costs, all good. I like the idea for days that I work. So, do your research before you buy, get a good quality one and enjoy. I got a cookbook from the library that was excellent to guide my research. Click here for the author's website.
And, last but not least, if you want some fresh produce, there will be mini farmers market this Saturday from 10-12 in the Eastview Estates Community Hall (on ellenwood I think). Carrots, potatoes, beets, etc. Not sure of prices but it's local (Innisfail). I'll be there for sure.
Happy Shopping

Thanks for taking the time to post. I appreciate it.
ReplyDeletePlease keep your eyes peeled regarding the long-standing deals on milk($3.97), eggs($1.97), and butter($2.97). I have noticed that the prices are creeping back up. I believe that Walmart (aka WallyWorld) is still maintaining the above prices, but I haven't seen any of the other stores competing anymore, except NoFrills (this may be because Sylvan's Walmart is so close to them). If anyone notices anything different, let us all know. I sure have enjoyed saving on these every day items.
Also, Liesel forgot the most exciting deal of the century!!! Asparagus at Co-op for $1.49/lb! It's asparagus season in Central and South America, so enjoy for the next month or so and then you'll just have to wait till May-July for ours to be ready.
